Join the town of Budrio in this festival that celebrates the coming of autumn with its fruits and its old rural traditions.
This edition is focused on potatoes. The potatoes have been cultivated in Bologna area for 200 years now. There will be different events dedicated to potato and its history during whole the festival. Moreover, fried potatoes will be served in piazza Filopanti.
A must-see for the record-breaking lovers is the processing and cooking of the Budrio's longest sausage. The giant sausage will be unrolled along the streets of Budrio and cooked to be finally tasted as filling of delicious sandwiches distributed in piazza Filopanti and piazza Antonio da Budrio, the "ends" of the sausage.
The restaurant "Dalla Terra alla tavola" will serve specialties from the old countryside cuisine, while the final evening will be dedicated to the dishes from Molise region.
For the animal-lovers, on the weekends, many exhibitions are set in the area of the former wash house. The protagonists will be farm animals, particularly goats and pigs. There will also be held the parmigiano reggiano cheese making demonstration.
All along the Agribu event the streets of the town will be enlivened by shows, music and street market.
