After Porretta Terme - Gaggio Montano here is our virtual journey along the second itinerary opened in March 2022 thanks to the European Interreg Adrion project Creatures - Promoting creative tourism through new sustainable and experiential routes.

This time the route links the city center to the hills, passing through monuments, art and architecture, following water paths, sluices and streams, among nature, small villages and food and wine excellence.

Bologna - Monteveglio is the path of the second "bretella" along the Piccola Cassia, an ancient road that the Romans used to cross the territories between Modena and Bologna and that today can be retraced by both hikers and bike lovers.
