Tra il 1775 e il1791 espone a Londra alla Royal Academy.

Dipinge ritratti a olio, come il Ritratto della Regina Charlotte, inciso da Richard Houston. Esegue inoltre miniature e disegna a pastello e a matita

Dipinge anche soggetti mitologici, quali il pastello con Venus nursing Love o l’olio con Cupido disarmato, inciso da Charles Knight. Dalle sue opere incide anche Luigi Schiavonetti.
